Is not a magazine nor a fanzine. It is a collection of different interpretations. Each issue will be titled with a concept. The authors would like to invite anyone to join this project, feeling free to express with their own tools: pens, type, photography, arts and any other form of visual creation. The authors have one page at their disposal to be filled with their own depiction of the given concept. Each page will be detachable and usable as a poster. In order not to deform the meanings, the texts will not be translated by the editorial staff, who has the only power to decide the works will be published. The title of the first issue of GRAM is “Pulp”.Pulp is intended as a soft, wet, shapeless mass of material; the soft fleshypart of a fruit; a soft wet mass of fibres derived from rags or wood, used in papermaking; Vascular tissue filling the interior cavity and root canals of a tooth. But Pulp is also the literary genre born in ‘20s in U.S.A. with low-quality publications with strong content, abundant of violent crimes, atrocities and gruesome situations. Pulp is usually allied with the hard-boiled, thriller and horror. Pulp noir is a sub-genre influenced by various “noir” genres, as well as pulp fiction genres, particularly the hard- boiled genre which help give rise to film noir. GRAM depends on the participation of a group of contributors. It is based on the collaboration of different authors, in order to collect a wide range of interpretations of a single concept created by different minds. GRAM aims at the heterogeneity of contents and techniques, it is a non-profit project. Its price is directly and only balanced to the costs of printing and to the weight of paper used for its creation.
