Vertigini is a visual experiment. A copy machine is fed with some frames of the notorious movie Vertigo. Hitchcock’s film is then manipulated, distorted, but also synthesized to the visceral core of its essence: the sense of faintness and loss of balance caused by vertigo. Dizziness forces the reader to an exhausting enterprise of understanding through a succession of graphic distortions, make the viewer revive the same spiral of psychological suspense and balances that have shaped one of the most famous examples of yellow film that history has ever seen.
